- Delaware Art Museum: The Delaware Art Museum is best known for its large collection of British Pre-Raphaelite art, illustrations by Wilmington native Howard Pyle, and urban landscapes by John Sloan and his circle. Visitors can also enjoy the outdoor Copeland Sculpture Garden and special exhibitions.
- The Delaware Contemporary: The Delaware Contemporary is a non-collecting museum of contemporary art and a dynamic gathering place for the exploration of new ideas at the intersection of art, design, and technology.
- Delaware Children’s Museum: Located on the Riverfront in Wilmington, the Delaware Children's Museum offers a safe learning environment with multiple exhibits, summer camps, and daily programming.
Estates & Gardens
Hagley Museum and Library: Hagley is the former industrial site of the original black powder works of the DuPont Company, founded in Delaware in 1802. Once powered by the natural resources that surrounded it, the gunpowder works today sit amid 235 acres of wooded rolling hills along the rushing Brandywine River.- Mt. Cuba Center: Explore an appreciation for the beauty and value of native plants and a commitment to protect the habitats that sustain them at this center featuring more than 1,000 acres of land.
- Nemours: Conceived in the style of an 18th century French mansion, this former DuPont family home features spectacular fountains, immaculate formal gardens, and regal period furnishings.
- Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library: Visitors to Winterthur Museum and Gardens experience a 175-room mansion and will be amazed by the nature and extent of its holdings, including more than 1,000 acres of protected meadows, woodlands, ponds, and waterways.

The Grand Opera House: Built in 1871, the Grand Opera House boasts a 1,208-seat theater presenting more than 100 shows a year from symphony orchestras, dance, and opera to stand-up comedians and contemporary acts.- The Baby Grand: Located on the first floor of the Grand Opera House, this intimate 305-seat theater features a broad diversity of emerging comedians, bands, and soloists as well as established artists.
- The Playhouse on Rodney Square: Opened in 1913, this is the oldest theater continually on the Broadway touring circuit. In addition to a full schedule of Broadway productions, The Playhouse, two blocks north of The Grand Opera House on Market Street in Wilmington, is also host to a number of other touring artists each season.
- The Queen: Originally built in the 1800s and fully rehabbed in 2011, this full-scale live music venue features regional indie to national touring acts and everything in between.
