Would you like to get a good run in before eating Thanksgiving dinner? Do you wish to give thanks by giving to charity? Well, Delaware has plenty of charitable marathons to participate in! In northern Delaware, the annual Thanksgiving Day MS Run is a holiday tradition with 5k and 10k runs, a 5k walk and a kiddie fun run. Down south, explore Wheelhouse, Salt Air, The Clubhouse at Baywood and Victoria’s Restaurant. For some sweet treats to complete your meal, grab some delicious apple cider donuts from Fifer Orchards in central Delaware.

December is right around the corner and so are winter holidays! As the weather turns colder, embrace all things winter with a trip to one of the du Pont mansions. Near Wilmington, Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library begins celebrating Yuletide with traditional decorations, Nemours Estate celebrates Noël and Hagley Museum boasts the holiday season. As the winter months approach, be sure to visit our events calendar for more happenings!
