Hamilton's on MainThinking about taking a trip with the girls? There's no better place than Delaware to celebrate your gal pals!

Whether you’re looking for things to do, places to be or just the best spots for photos, look no further! Use this guide to create the perfect itinerary for your trip.

Shopping (Tax-Free!) :

That’s right. Delaware offers a tax-free shopping experience! For hours of searching for deals and discounts, visit malls like Christiana Mall and outlets like the Tanger Outlets. Delaware is also known for its many (and adorable!) small Harvest Ridge Winerybusinesses and boutiques, providing a unique shopping experience that can’t be found anywhere else. Try Riverfront Wilmington or downtown Dover for interesting finds. Or, for coastal shops and boutiques, visit downtown Lewes or Rehoboth Boardwalk.

The Best of Brunch :

We love finding cute spots for brunch! Up North, visit Caffe Gelatoeggspectation or Breakfast at Blume. If in Central Delaware, check out La Baguette or the Sugar Factory in Dover, especially if you have a sweet tooth. To be near waterside views and coastal vibes, stop by the lovely Café Pink Blossom or Station on Kings in Lewes. Also, Victoria’s in Rehoboth Beach is located right on Rehoboth Boardwalk with a beautiful ocean view!

Breakfast at BlumeCapture the Perfect Moment :

If you didn’t take any pictures, then did it really happen? Delaware offers beautiful landscapes for the best photos. Catch a gorgeous sunset at Bethany Beach, or walk amongst the flowers of Lavender Fields or Brittingham Farms. Appreciate the historic and aesthetic architecture of Delaware’s gardens and mansions, including Winterthur Museum, Garden and LibraryNemours Estate and Hagley Museum and Library. Other hot spots for photos include Riverfront Wilmington’s picturesque trail, historic Lewes and its waterside canal and Penny Lane Mall in Rehoboth Beach! You can also check out the Delaware Discoveries Trail for cute murals that make for great backdrops. Tip: Use the hashtag #VisitDE for a chance to be featured on @VisitDelaware’s IG and FB pages!

Outdoor Adventures :

Whether you are looking to spend a day on the beach or up for a nice bike Klondike Kate'sride, Delaware’s State Parks offer tons of different outdoor activities. You can kayak at Lums Pond State Park or try paddle boarding at Cape Henlopen State Park. Stroll any of Delaware’s 17 different state parks (and check for daily events at the parks listed here!), or just relax in the sun at the beaches of Delaware Seashore State Park. Wine and Dine :

Check out our Delaware On Tap Trail to learn about Delaware’s wineries, distilleries, meaderies and more! No matter what part of Delaware you’re in, there’s places to be and wine to taste. Try the Harvest Ridge Winery and Rebel Seed Cidery in Marydel for scenic views in Central Delaware. The Nassau Valley Rehoboth BeachVineyards-Winery and Salted Vines Vineyard & Winery in Southern Delaware are also great options when wine o’clock hits.

All Through the Night :

Until it ends, there is no end. Jam out at one of Delaware’s bars, like Klondike Kate’s Restaurant & Saloon or Hamilton’s on Maine in Newark (and, if The Queen is hosting a live event in Wilmington, you should totally check that out on the way). Down South, try the Crooked Hammock Brewery for drinks and backyard games or the Big Chill Surf Cantina for live music. The Starboard also always has something fun going on, from live music to beachside fires. For even more fun, go to Bally’s Dover Casino Resort for dining and entertainment or Lefty’s Alleys and Eats for some drinks, bowling and arcade games.
